At the end of August we travelled to Cricklade, the start of the Thames, to undertake Silver and Gold practice expeditions for the DofE awards.  Twenty explorer scouts from 1st Llangollen and 1st Penycae spent 4 days travelling independently in 4 groups reaching almost to Reading.  The 6 leaders also managed several good days on the water.
